It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Dorothy (Cruikshank) (Fanjoy) Claessen wife of the late Peter Claessen on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Palliative Care Unit, Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 90. Born on October 23, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Bella Fanjoy-Livingston.
Dorothy’s (Dottie) life was filled with adventure, love and a delightful sense of humour. She loved her weekend drives with family to all her favourite spots. In the last 6 years she discovered the internet which opened a whole new world to her. She was predeceased by her husband Peter; son: Karl; brother: David Gregg; sisters: Jenny Thorne, Ruth Roche and Lucille Titus. Thank you for all the visits and support in the last couple months.
