Obituary of Eldon G. Paisley

The death of Eldon G. Paisley wife of Beth R. (Sangster) Paisley occurred peacefully at Ridgewood Veterans Hospital on April 10, 2003. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Thomas and Christina (Brewer) Paisley. Eldon was a veteran of WW ll serving in the North Atlantic, United Kingdom and Europe. Eldon was a carpenter by trade and loved to refinish old furniture. He was a faithful volunteer at the Branch #87 RCL for many years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be sadly missed. Survived by his wife Beth of 47 years, two sons Thomas (Joan) Paisley, Miramichi, NB, John (Deborah) Paisley, Brown's Flat, NB, one daughter Jane (Darrold) Dotson, Brown's Flat, NB, eight grandchildren Mary Beth, Jennifer, Scott, Heather, Andrew and Jonathan Paisley, Michael and Rebecca Delaney, one brother Bruce Paisley, Kingston Ont., and one sister Florence Ferris, Saint John, NB. He is predeceased by Helen, Herbert, Ronald, Royden, Clarence, Cecil and Kenneth. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425) with visiting Friday 2-4, 7-9. A Legion Tribute Service will be held on Friday at 3:30 PM., at the funeral home. Funeral service to take place in the Bay View Chapel on Saturday, April 12, 2003, at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place in the Wesley United Church Cemetery, Brown's Flat, NB, at a later date. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Branch #87 RCL or donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
