Obituary of Glendon F. Cassidy

Glendon F. Cassidy It is with great sadness that the family of Glendon Cassidy of Oak Point announce his passing on November 3, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on September 8, 1952 he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Henrietta (McGowan) Cassidy.Glen is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou (Carson); two cherished sons Evan (Rebecca Comeau) and Matthew. He was a quality control inspector and worked at Point Lepreau Nuclear Plant, Saint John and Halifax Shipyards, along with Canaport/LNG and numerous Industrial Projects through-out his career. Glen was an avid photographer, carpenter, and he had a love for restoring his antique vehicles, motorcycling & snowmobiling with his family. Visitation will be held at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West, on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Oak Point NB, on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 2pm. Private family interment at a later date. Donations in Glen’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the SJRH or St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery Fund.
