Obituary of Patricia Merritt

Merritt Patricia Ann It is with great sadness the family of Patricia Ann Merritt wish to announce her passing on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Edward and Donalda (Scarlet) Duguay. Pat was an avid bingo player. Patricia is survived by three sons, Galen Merritt, of Saint John, Trevor, and Shawn Merritt, both of Sommerville, N.B., two daughters, Charlotte (Patrick) Porter, and Nadine Merritt, both of Saint John, N.B., one brother Mark Duguay, of Ontario, one sister, Sandra Martin, of Miramichi, N.B., three grandchildren, Jason, Britany, and Julie, and several nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Bernard Duguay, and Purves (Ted) Duguay. Resting at Castle funeral home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Castle "Fallsview" chapel on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 10:00am. Interment will take place in Harding's Point Cemetery. Donations to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
