Obituary of Patricia Bridge

Bridge, Patricia Mary At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Monday, March 21, 2016. Pat Passed away, surrounded by her family. She was much loved, and is missed by her family and friends. Pat grew up in East Saint John and attended Bayview Elementary School, Simonds Junior High and Simonds High School. She had a great deal of artistic talent and enjoyed crafts and other creative activities. She made several crochet afghans and her latest project was a labour of love to crochet a dress for her great grand daughter Mikaela Grace Allen- Kennedy. Her computer was her favorite past time she enjoyed playing several games. She enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee and having coffee with her home care workers Debbie Mullen and Tasha Cox. She looked forward to spending time with her home care workers and having coffee with them. Pat was predeceased by her parents Robert L. and Winnifred M. (Saville) Bridge, her brother Robert A. Bridge, her son Peter Michael T. Cyr, her ex husband Joseph Ivan Leo Cyr and her good friend Betty Beyea. Pat is survived by her daughter Leanne Cyr (Jason Kennedy), her grandchildren Justin Cyr, Kristin Paris (Joe Shortridge), Jacob Mason (Ashley McLaughlin), Joshua Kennedy (Kelsie Allen), Shane McGuire (Shyanne Nason), great granddaughter Mikaela Grace Allen- Kennedy, sister Margaret Bridge, brother and sister-in-law Art and Faye Cyr, daughter-in-law Norma Jean MacDonald and her very special childhood friend Gloria Maher, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday March 24, 2016 at Castle Funeral Home “Fallsview” Chapel at 12 o’clock with Rev. Andrew Morse officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes foundation or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
