Obituary of Brian Mott

Surrounded by his family Brian Mott passed away peacefully on Sunday June 5, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Brian was born April 15, 1950 and worked at Irving Paper as a Team Leader for 35 years, where he retired in 2008. Brian was an avid gardener, enthusiastic coin collector and a member of the SJ Coin Club and International Coin Club. During the warmer months, Brian enjoyed going to his Summer Home in Belyea’s Cove. The family wishes to remember Brian, not in his time of struggle, but of him standing on his deck with a cold drink in hand, watching the sun go down over the Washademoak Lake. Brian was the son of the late Blake and Madalyn (Breen) Mott. Brian will be sadly missed by his loving wife Joan (Parlee) Mott; son John Mott (Michelle); step son David Parlee (Michelle); daughters Wendy Gaudet (Lionel), Tina Mott (Rick), Jennifer Mott Estey (Scott), Jessica Mott; sister Nancy Mott; grandchildren Tenesha Wood (Nick), Courtney Oram (Justin), Brandon Mott, Bryon Gaudet, Gabrielle Hatt-Long, Tiana Dumas, Brooklyn Estey, Addison Estey, Carter Estey, and Angela Parlee; great grandchildren Harlow Wood, Aubrey Mott, Avery Wood, and Ezra Wood. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). A Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 7, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will be held at Castle “Fallsview” Reception Center following the service.
