Obituary of Jasmine Mae Cavanaugh

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Jasmine Mae Cavanaugh which occurred on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 28, 1975, she was the loving daughter of Nancy Ouellet and the late James Cavanaugh. Jasmine graduated from St. Vincent’s High School in 1993 and from the Stenography program at NBCC in 1994. She also held a certificate in 3D Graphic Design. Most recently Jasmine was working with AIDS Saint John as an office assistant and working on graphic design projects. She took great pride in the recent birth of her grandson Elias and was so proud of her daughter Angel for the wonderful mother she has become. Jasmine enjoyed music, lupins, unicorns, Tigers, the color purple and loved going to the beach. Jasmine will be sadly missed by her daughter Angel Rene Cavanaugh (Pascal Mazerolle) of Moncton, NB; Josh Kindred (Angel’s Father); step-father Charles McKendy; step-brothers Liam McKendy of Fredericton, NB and Charlie J. McKendy of Montreal, PQ; her only grandson Elias Mazerolle; grandmothers Celina Ouellet of Grandbay-Westfield, NB and Yvonne Cavanaugh of St. Stephen, NB; many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends and her special friend, Miles Wellwood. Besides her father, Jasmine was predeceased by her grandfather Rene Ouellet and paternal grandfather Cyril Cavanaugh; several aunts and uncles; and cousin Manon Ricard.Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday October 4, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church (360 Dufferin Row) on Monday October 5, 2015 at 12:00 noon.
